Movie Review: “Food Inc.”
“Food Inc.” is a documentary about the nation’s food industry revealing shocking information that has been previously hidden from American consumers with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies. You won’t look at your dinner plate the same way after watching this film, but it’s certainly a must-watch movie if you have any respect whatsoever for your personal health. Three stars.

I have not seen this documentary but I am curious to see if it highlights the dog food industry. The food that is created for dogs, cats, and other small animals is very unhealthy. I was shocked to find out what parts of animals are used to go into animal food. With the recent recall of certain types of dog food in September, I think you may find this article, “Pet Food: A Dog’s Breakfast” interesting. Wow, thanks for sharing that link! After reading the article it really seems like the dog documentary it was talking about is very similar to how “Food Inc.” evaluates the U.S. food industry.. for humans at least. 🙂 My dad actually researched dog food a few years back and has been feeding our two golden retrievers organic food that literally only one dog supply warehouse in the area has.. not very convenient, but we feel so much better giving them food that we KNOW isn’t going to harm them. That’s definitely a documentary I’d like to check out! Thanks again for the link!
